Break free from the pressure to be perfec t.
Therapy for teens and young women in Dallas, Texas
My Specialties
-
That quiet inner voice telling you that you’re not enough can be exhausting. In therapy, you can gently rebuild self-esteem from the inside out, learning to feel confident, capable, and worthy just as you are.
-
If you often pick apart your reflection or wish your body looked different, you’re not alone. Therapy offers a space to release self-criticism and build a kinder relationship with your body.
-
Perfection doesn’t have to define your worth. Therapy can help you let go of impossible standards, release the need to be in control, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel most authentic.
-
When you’re stuck in overthinking, checking “just in case,” or needing things to feel “just right,” OCD can make everyday life feel overwhelming. I help teens and women understand intrusive thoughts and gradually reduce compulsions, so uncertainty feels easier to navigate.

If you feel stuck in patterns like restriction, overeating, or other challenging eating behaviors, we’ll focus on building a more balanced and supportive relationship with food; one that does not involve guilt or shame.
You work hard, hold yourself to high standards, and feel most comfortable when everything is in your control. From the outside, you may look confident and put together. Inside, however, you’re often your own harshest critic, and the smallest mistake can bring overwhelming shame and fear of judgment.
Or maybe you’re a parent watching your daughter put more and more pressure on herself. You see her becoming withdrawn, overwhelmed, or overly critical of who she is, and you want to help but aren’t sure what to do or say to help her.
Therapy offers a supportive space to take a breath, let your guard down, and begin understanding the pressure beneath the perfectionism. Many of my clients describe me as a “wise older sister” who deeply cares about you, feels relatable, and will give it to you straight when you need a little tough love. Together, we’ll work toward quieting your inner critic, loosening the need for control, and building a sense of self-worth that isn’t dependent on achievement or the approval of others.
Change isn’t about lowering your standards or giving up what matters to you. It’s about learning to pursue your goals with greater flexibility and self-compassion, so you can feel proud of who you are, not just what you accomplish.
